Low Iron Tempered Glass--AS/NZS 2208: 1996, CE, ISO 9002

Low Iron Tempered Glass is one kind of Ultra Clear Safety Glass. The visible light transimitance of our Low Iron Tempered Glass is about 91.8%. And its iron content is approximate 100ppm, about 1/10 of the one in clear float glass, that makes its color extra clear. Because of less impurity, spontaneous breakage rate of Low Iron Tempered Glass is only about 0.03%, about 10 times less than clear float glass. After heat soaking process, that risk can decrease by 10 times. The appearance of Low Iron Tempered Glass make the building noble & elegant.

Our Low Iron Tempered Glass can be processed to be Laminated Glass or be IGU. If the glass is used to produce Laminated Glass, its flatness must be control strictly to avoid bubbles or delaminating problem between two or more sheets of glass laminated. 

Our Low Iron Tempered Glass can be processed with Hole, Cutouts, Polished Edges, Safety Corners or in Irregular Shape. Besides, it can also be Heat Soaked to less the possibility of Self-Bomb. And it is popular used as Showcase, Shower Glass, Door & Window Glass, Pool Fence Glass,Balustrade Glass, Balcony Glass,Bathroom Glass, Floor Glass, Sliding Door glass,Furniture Glass,Table Glass etc.

Low Iron Tempered Glass (Ultra Clear, Extra Clear) has much better performance than common Float Tempered Glass.

Low Iron Tempered Glass can be Polished around, and its corners can be tipped for safety if neccessary. Considering its installation, holes or cutouts are available.

Low Iron Tempered Glass still has the Safety Property of Tempered Glass. It can become thousands of small glass pieces without sharp tips once it is broken. One or more sheets of  Low Iron Tempered Glass can be Laminated to become Laminated Glass. Some customers prefer to use Low Iron Tempered Glass as Shower Door or Sliding door.
